Since January 1st, 2019, the Department of Science Communication is part of the Institute of Technology Futures (ITZ). The ITZ was founded in 2017 and is dedicated to the reflection of Humanities and Social Sciences on the relationship between humans, technology and the environment. It is currently divided into the scientifically independent sub-institutes for History, Philosophy and Science Communication.
